What is a small Group?

A small group is typically made up of no more than six to twelve people who meet regularly during the week to share about their lives, support one another, and study Biblical truths. Each group has a Host and a Leader/Facilitator (this may be the same person). Groups may meet in a number of different locations such as: coffee shops, restaurants, and work places, but typically they meet in homes. Usually groups meet in the evening, but can meet in the morning or afternoon. Our goal is to accommodate the different needs of those in our church by offering a variety of options.

Small Group Mission

We believe that life change happens through the meeting together of people who study God’s Word, while learning to lead and encouraging each other to keep the commitment of being a fully surrendered followers of Christ.

What is the purpose of Small Groups at Eternal Rock Fellowship?

1. Small Groups provide a training ground for future leaders at ERF.

2. Small Groups are incubators of faith for new people coming into ERF.

3. Small Groups provide a neutral ground for Christians to invite their friends.

What are the expectations?

1.Each “Small Group” leader/facilitator is responsible for the life and health of the group as well as finding the next leader/facilitator that will do the same.

2.Small Groups can not last longer than 2 hours. Each meeting must start and end on time.

3.Each meeting should include a discussion time on the current topic being learned.

4.Each meeting should provide a time for prayer, preferably at the end.

5.Each Small Group member is required to participate and commit to the duration of the life of the group.

Urban Legends

You know how it goes: someone sees something and tells someone who then tells someone else. On and on and on it goes until its hard to separate fact from fiction. This doesn't just happen with alligators and Bigfoot... it happens with spiritual truths as well. Join us as we separate fact from fiction and debunk spiritual myths.

Each week's study will take you to a new bible destination where you'll discover different places of interest and be introduced to many different and fascinating people as you learn thought-provoking facts about the life and times of these biblical characters. Take It To The Limit
